Job summary

eNL Legal Recruitment in Birmingham seeks a Head of Renewable Energy to lead and grow the firm's offering in this dynamic sector. Based in Birmingham, the role is a senior leadership appointment for an ambitious partner.

You will drive strategy, client relationships and cross‑practice collaboration to capitalise on market opportunities in solar, wind, battery storage and related projects. The successful candidate will shape the practice, mentor a team and play a key role in business development

Qualifications

Extensive experience advising on renewable energy projects and related commercial arrangements.
Strong understanding of the energy and infrastructure market.
Excellent client relationship management and business development skills.
Ability to develop and execute a strategy for practice growth.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify new opportunities.
Leadership skills to develop and inspire a team.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the firm's renewable energy offering and advise on a broad range of energy and infrastructure matters.
Provide strategic advice on project development, commercial contracts, acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and regulatory matters.
Identify new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships to grow market presence.
Shape the direction of the practice and collaborate with other teams to build a platform for growth.
