Job Description:

Are you looking for a challenging career in business development? Do you have strong analytical skills? Amazon, one of the world's leaders in e-commerce, is looking for Partner Managers (business development professionals) to join its Third-Party Marketplace in London.

Your role will focus on partnering with high-potential Sellers across various categories to grow their online businesses through promotional and deals activities, such as participating in Prime Day and Black Friday deal events. You will develop a sales pipeline using a highly consultative and data-driven approach. You will help your Selling Partners develop promotion strategies, including competitive selection, pricing, and product availability. Additionally, you will work as part of our EU Deals team to ensure the delivery of Deals strategy across major events, maximizing both customer experience and sales. You will also use feedback from your Selling Partners to identify opportunities to improve Amazon’s products, services, processes, systems, and tools for all third-party sellers.

Key job responsibilities include:

  1. Articulating compelling value propositions around various Promotions options.
  2. Identifying and converting a sales pipeline using a highly consultative and data-driven approach.
  3. Developing Promotions strategies to deliver competitive selection, pricing, and product availability.
  4. Seeking out new Promotions opportunities by reviewing metrics to identify unexploited potential.
  5. Ensuring implementation of Deals strategy across all major deals events to maximize Customer Experience and sales.
  6. Educating sellers to learn and master Amazon's promotions tools and systems for self-sufficiency.
  7. Tracking and reporting business development results, analyzing data, and interpreting reports for your portfolio of sellers.
  8. Collaborating with European colleagues on developing services in the area of 3P Deals & Promotions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in sales or marketing work (e.g., e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of procurement and source-to-pay methods at small and medium businesses.
  • Experience influencing at all organizational levels, especially at the executive level.
  • Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent.
