Are you a seasoned Employment Lawyer looking to step into a Partnership role with the support and infrastructure of a successful full-service firm? We’re working in partnership with a highly regarded London practice that is looking to appoint a Salaried Partner to join their growing Employment Law team, working alongside two experienced Partners on a wide variety of high-quality respondent-focused matters.

This is an outstanding opportunity to play a key leadership role in a team that’s expanding in line with growing client demand—offering excellent career prospects, a strong platform, and the chance to shape the future of the department.

The Role

You’ll join as a key senior figure in the team, leading complex employment matters and advising a broad client base on contentious and non-contentious issues. With a 70/30 split in favour of respondent work, the role includes:

  • Handling complex Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation
  • Advising on TUPE, redundancy, discrimination, whistleblowing and senior exits
  • Working closely with clients ranging from SMEs to large corporates
  • Contributing to strategic business development and client relationship management
  • Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers within the team
  • Supporting the firm’s wider employment offering and cross-practice collaboration

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified solicitor with 7+ years’ PQE in Employment Law (guideline only)
  • Current or previous experience at Senior Associate or Counsel level, ideally within a respected firm
  • A strong respondent-side background, with a track record in both litigation and advisory work
  • Commercial acumen and confidence in managing senior client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability or potential to lead, grow and develop a practice
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset, aligned with the firm’s inclusive culture
