About the team and the role:
We’re looking for a data-informed, commercially minded, and results-driven professional to join eBay’s Partner Development team as Partner Development Manager – UK. This role is instrumental in growing our ecosystem of strategic managed partners—companies that build tools and services (e.g., listing tools, inventory management, and marketing platforms) that integrate with eBay’s platform to empower sellers.
As a key contributor to the Partnerships team, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of UK-based partners. You'll drive partner engagement, facilitate technical integrations, activate joint marketing efforts, and collaborate cross-functionally to support scalable growth. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone with experience in partner development or business development within platform ecosystems.
This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Head of Partners Development, and will work closely with product, marketing, legal, and other internal partners.
Key responsibilities:
Implement the UK partner growth strategy, identifying and activating high-potential technology and service partners.
Own end-to-end relationship management for a portfolio of strategic partners, including commercial agreements, performance tracking, and integration oversight.
Develop and implement go-to-market plans and joint initiatives—such as webinars, co-marketing campaigns, and events—to drive mutual business growth.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to support API integrations and ensure scalable, efficient partner solutions.
Use data and insights to identify performance opportunities, influence internal roadmaps, and inform partner strategy.
Act as the key point of contact for internal cross-functional teams supporting partner success, including legal, analytics, and operations.
Represent eBay at partner meetings, conferences, and industry events in the UK, helping to build eBay’s partner brand in the market.
Advocate for partners internally, ensuring their needs and capabilities are well-understood across the organization.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
6-8+ years of experience in business development, partner management, or platform ecosystem roles—preferably in ecommerce, retail tech, or SaaS.
Demonstrated experience supporting or managing API-based integrations or platform-driven business models.
Strategic problem solver with a bias for action and strong execution skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and partners in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Strong analytical and communication skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Ability to collaborate and influence across diverse teams and partners.
