Job summary

B&Q Sprucefield is seeking a Customer Advisor - Décor on a part-time 15-hour week role. You’ll work weekends, with shifts from 7.00am to 9.00pm, and earn a notional hourly rate of £13.10. You’ll become a trusted advisor, helping customers with home improvement projects while keeping displays looking great.

The role emphasises friendly service, stock handling and learning paint-mixing or timber-cutting as needed. A team-oriented, proactive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Able to deliver friendly, helpful service to customers.
• Comfortable working as part of a team and on a rota.
• Willing to learn product ranges and use new technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with décor questions and product selection.
• Maintain stock, set up displays and keep store areas tidy.
• Operate POS systems and handle transactions accurately.
• Support weekend/evening shifts and bank holidays as required.
