We are looking for Warehouse Operatives for our client in Barnsley, working in a refrigerated environment. You will be picking food items for a leading retailer, ensuring you hit daily target amounts. The ideal candidate must be able to drive or live within walking distance due to shift finish times.

Ideal skills and experience:

Some warehouse experience is preferred but not necessary. You will be given training but must have an eye for detail when checking goods and picking.

Key responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will involve day-to-day responsibilities on a warehouse shop floor, including:

• Ensuring that products are processed and handled correctly.
• Operating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Picking with voice and scanners.
• Working in 0-3 degree temperatures.
• Adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Meeting daily pick targets.
• Using a pump truck.

Hours of work:

• Any 5 out of 7 days - weekend work will be required.
• From 4 pm until finish.
• Flexibility to work extra hours at peak times is required.

Pay rate:

• £12.61 per hour
