Job summary

York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Ward Clerk for Ward 36 in Gastroenterology and Hepatology within the Medicine Care Group. The role supports ward operations through patient records management, appointment coordination and essential administrative tasks.

The position is part-time (15 hours per week) with shifts on Monday and Tuesday from 08:30 to 16:30. Strong communication, teamwork and computer skills are required; NHS experience is advantageous and full

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and being a good team player are essential.
• Basic computer skills are required and NHS experience is advantageous.
• Full training will be given on hospital computer systems.
• Able to manage patient records and coordinate appointments with accuracy.
