Job summary

Vets for Pets Barry in South Wales is seeking a part-time veterinary surgeon to work three days a week. The role combines surgery and consults, with 15–30 minute consults and a 9am–6pm day, plus one in four to five Saturdays. There is no out-of-hours work.

The practice has been refurbished and is equipped with digital X-rays and ultrasound, offering five weeks of annual leave, CPD funding, pension and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Part-time veterinary role requiring clinical skills in surgery and consultations.
• Ability to handle mixed caseload of surgical and consultative work.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures and outpatient consultations.
• Maintain patient records and coordinate with team for daily schedules.
