Job summary

Keele University is seeking a part-time Clinical Teaching Fellow in Veterinary Sciences to support the delivery of small group tutorials and case-based learning within the BVetMS programme. The post focuses on integrating anatomy, physiology, animal management, behaviour, welfare, and health sciences into foundation studies.

The successful candidate will be an MRCVS or eligible for registration, contributing to teaching materials and student development.

Qualifications

• Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) or eligible for RCVS registration without the need to sit the membership exam.
• Experience delivering/tutorial teaching in veterinary education is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small group tutorials and case-based learning across the foundation BVetMS programme.
• Support student professional development through academic skills, communication, and reflective practice.
• Facilitate case-based learning in Year 3 focusing on veterinary pathology and clinical preparation.
• Support student wellbeing and pastoral care in collaboration with mentors and support services.
