Job summary

Brentford FC is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Academy Coach (U13) based at the Training Ground in west London. The role supports the Academy coaching framework, delivering the youth development curriculum, game model and IDP processes to improve player performance.

You will work within the early YDP, collaborate with the Head of Academy Football Development, and help ensure safeguarding and EPPP standards are met while supporting families and providing age-appropriate feedback.

Qualifications

UEFA A License required.
Advanced Youth Award required.
Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF) required.
FA Safeguarding qualification required.
Experience coaching youth in an Academy environment.
Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Understanding of youth development rules and EPPP standards.

Responsibilities

Plan elite level coaching for the assigned U13 group across training and games.
Support player development by implementing and tracking Individual Development Plans.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support wellbeing and development.
Build positive relationships with players and families and motivate progress.
Provide feedback to players in line with IDP timelines and processes.
Complete planning, data capture and IDT note requirements.
