Job summary

The Apples Medical Centre in England is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse or a qualified Nurse to join our friendly team on a part-time basis, working mainly in our Treatment Room. You will deliver high quality nursing care including wound care, immunisations, cervical screening and chronic disease monitoring, collaborating closely with our clinical team and Sherborne PCN.

Applicants must have current NMC registration and be able to work flexibly to support both pre-bookable and same day

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration and active PIN.
• Experience in primary care desirable.
• Post-registration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, screening and treatment services and health education.
• Deliver nursing treatments with GPs or via agreed protocols.
• Conduct health screenings and refer to GPs as needed.
• Advise on general health and minor ailments with appropriate referrals.
• Perform phlebotomy, dressings and infection control duties.
