Job summary

CareTech Group in Plymouth and Ivybridge is recruiting a Training and Support Facilitator to assist adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. You will deliver person-centred support in line with individual plans and help develop independent living skills.

The role requires flexibility, reliability and a caring attitude, with responsibilities including records maintenance and supporting community access and activities. 21 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Flexible approach to work including evenings.
• Drivers licence preferred but not essential.
• To be confident working independently.
• To be self-motivated and reliable.
• To be friendly, approachable and have a caring attitude towards others.
• IT literate and understanding of basic Office applications.
• To be available to provide cover at short notice.
• Knowledge or experience of working with people with autism and learning disabilities would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments, and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
