Job summary

Planet Organic in Queens Park is seeking a Team Member for the Tills & Grocery department on a part-time basis. You will be the face of our store, providing friendly service, handling till transactions, and sharing knowledge about our organic products.

Key duties include serving customers, processing payments, preparing orders for Deliveroo where applicable, and helping the team maintain high hygiene and safety standards. Flexibility with hours is required, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and willingness to learn.
• Passionate about food, health and well-being.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices in retail.
• Previous experience in retail and food & drink servery preferred but not essential.
• Store hours 8:00–21:00, flexibility with shifts across these hours.

Responsibilities

• Make every customer experience fun, educational and rewarding.
• Familiarise yourself with products sold in store and guide customers.
• Serve customers at till points and process transactions.
• Prepare and package Deliveroo orders accurately and promptly.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
• Work as part of a team to complete daily tasks.
