Ruishton CofE Primary School, part of The Oak Partnership Trust, is recruiting a Part Time Teaching Assistant. The role involves 1:1 support for pupils with SEND, contributing to small group activities and assisting the class teacher.

We are seeking a patient, passionate team player with good communication and a commitment to safeguarding. Hours are 18.25 per week, term-time only, 8:45am to 3:20pm, three days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience working with pupils with SEND.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Patient, empathetic and passionate about helping children.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with a range of SEND needs as required.
• Help deliver activities and learning, including reading and writing, with small groups under the supervision of the class teacher.
• Implement adaptations to learning as identified by the class teacher and SENDCo.
• Work as part of the staff team to support teaching provision and pupil learning.
• Provide objective feedback to pupils to extend their learning.
• Support and supervise pupils at break and lunchtimes.
