Job summary

Heron Way Primary School in Horsham is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to support learning under the guidance of the class teacher. You will help pupils access a broad and balanced curriculum while promoting a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils individually and in small groups to develop core skills.
• Assist in delivering high-quality teaching in line with the curriculum.
• Support pupils with SEND and contribute to inclusive learning.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
• Help prepare and organise learning resources.
• Promote positive behaviour and safeguarding compliance.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and other professionals.
