SMT Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Tax Manager for a well-established accountancy practice in Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire. This part-time role (3 days per week, 20 hours) offers a diverse portfolio of tax work and the opportunity to manage client relationships directly.

You will prepare Self-Assessment and Corporation Tax returns, advise on Personal Tax and Capital Gains, liaise with HMRC, and ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifikationen

• Recognised tax or accountancy qualification is required.
• Experience in a tax-focused role, ideally in an accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of Personal, Corporation and Capital Gains Tax.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and submit Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals.
• Prepare and submit Corporation Tax Returns for limited companies.
• Prepare and calculate Capital Gains Tax liabilities and returns.
• Manage client tax compliance and deadlines.
• Provide tax advice and guidance on legislation and HMRC queries.
• Maintain client records and liaise with clients on ongoing requirements.
