Keys Group is seeking a part-time Support Worker to cover maternity leave at Westholme in Moseley, Birmingham. The role involves day-to-day support for adults with complex needs in a residential setting, 23 hours per week at £13.45–£14.15 per hour.

You'll help with personal care, health needs and accompanying to appointments, with a full induction, DBS paid by Keys, and access to the Circle wellbeing hub and pension scheme.

About Westholme

Westholme is a residential care home in a Victorian house in Moseley, Birmingham, supporting up to thirteen adults with autism, mental health needs, learning disabilities and acquired brain injury (ABI).

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
