Job summary

Cygnet is hiring a Part Time Support Worker for The Old Vicarage, a specialist residential service for adults with learning disabilities. The role is 24 hours per week, days only, with a pay rate of £13.15 per hour, rising to £13.45 after 3 months.

Flexible hours and opportunities for overtime, with regular coaching and supervision, are offered to support your development. Applicants must be genuinely motivated to make a difference, be an excellent communicator and team player, and be prepared

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all residents.

• Report on medical and welfare needs when needed.
• Safeguard residents and maintain a safe, clean environment.

Cygnet Group are looking for a confident Part Time Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care to join our team at The Old Vicarage.

The Old Vicarage is a specialist residential service, supporting adults with learning disabilities who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs. We provide specialist care and support that is tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and community integration.

This will be a part-time role. Working 24 hours per week on Days Only

Our resident profile:

• Men and Women over the age of 18
• Individuals with a primary diagnosis of learning disability
• Individuals with a secondary diagnosis of personality disorder or autism
• May have communication challenges
• May have associated complex needs
