Cardiff University Students' Union is seeking candidates to support foodservice across Taf Kitchen, Y Plas Kitchen, Snack Shack, and related outlets. The role involves working in a kitchen, upholding hygiene, and contributing to fast, high-quality food service.

Training will be provided, including chef whites and hats, with a trial shift on 11/11/2026. Hours are estimated at 10–15 per week, with variability based on trade requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Basic customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen.
• Awareness of hygiene and safety practices in a food environment.
• Willingness to undertake Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene training.

• Maintain high quality standards and exceed customer expectations.
• Keep all food prep and storage areas clean and tidy.
• Help kitchen team prepare orders quickly and to a high standard.
• Prepare food safely and follow hygiene policies and legislation.
• Record due diligence and stay aware of current menus.
