Job summary

South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a part-time Speech and Language Therapist to join the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team. The post involves contributing to ASD/ADHD assessment and diagnosis, alongside experienced clinicians, within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

The role offers opportunities to develop autonomy in assessment, with supervision and CPD support, and to participate in the wider neurodevelopmental service with partner organisations.

Qualifications

• Experience with neurodevelopmental assessments is beneficial.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience contributing to assessment and diagnosis of ASD/ADHD.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to neurodevelopmental assessments for ASD/ADHD in children and young people.
• Co-facilitate assessments alongside senior clinicians.
• Gather and integrate clinical information to support assessment and diagnostic decisions.
• Provide Speech and Language Therapy input within the diagnostic pathway.
• Engage in clinical supervision and CPD opportunities.
