First Student is hiring a Part Time SPED School Van Driver in Portsmouth, RI to start students' days with morning pickup and transport them home in the afternoon.

This role offers a sign-on bonus of $2,000, competitive hourly pay, paid training, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match. Split AM/PM shifts, weekdays only with no nights, weekends, or summers.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid license.
• English proficiency required for safety and communications.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding/unboarding and assist students with belts and mobility aids.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain bus safety, obey traffic laws, and communicate with parents and school staff.
