Job summary

Rotherham Education Services (RES) is seeking a proactive Community Lecturer to teach Spanish to adults at various levels as part of our community learning provision. The role is temporary until July 2027, with 2 hours per week on Mondays 10:00–12:00, and payment is hourly with holiday pay.

You will deliver engaging lessons, support coordination of activities, and provide excellent service to learners and partners while meeting funding and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Spanish to adults, preferably in an education environment.
• Experience teaching both employed and unemployed learners.
• Teaching qualification or working towards one.
• Well organised and able to manage your own workload.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Spanish lessons to adults at various levels.
• Support coordination of activities throughout the academic year.
• Provide excellent customer service to learners and external clients.
• Maintain high accuracy and strong organisational skills in teaching administration.
