Job summary

RNN Group is seeking a Community Lecturer to deliver Spanish to adult learners in the community learning program. The role is part of Rotherham Education Services and supports coordination of activities through the academic year.

The ideal candidate will have teaching experience (Spanish) and hold a teaching qualification or be working towards one, with strong organisational skills and commitment to high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Spanish to adults, preferably in education.
• Ability to teach both employed and unemployed learners.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage own workload.

Community Lecturer Spanish

Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Salary: £19.62 to £20.59 per hour plus Holiday pay (Rate dependant on if qualified)

Vacancy Type: Temporary until July 2027, 2 hours per week, Mondays 10:00-12:00

Rotherham Education Services (RES) supply casual and temporary staffing to the RNN Group. The RNN Group consists of Rotherham, Dearne Valley and North Notts colleges.

Are you passionate about supporting the learning journey of students within education?

We are looking for a proactive and professional Spanish tutor who will be responsible for delivering at a variety of levels within our community learning, in line with funding requirements. The successful candidate will support the coordination of a range of activities throughout the academic year.

You will be committed to providing an excellent customer service to both internal and external clients, whilst producing a high level of accuracy, excellent organisational skills and a flexible approach to work.

Through a proactive, enthusiastic and customer focused approach you will help the College achieve its mission to provide support for the future of our students and community, through outstanding teaching and learning. Your work will ultimately lead to increased enrolment numbers, highly accurate data, meeting funding requirements plus positive development of the College reputation.
