Job summary

Toby Carvery Waterside is seeking a Part Time Sous Chef with a passion for great food and team leadership. You will run a kitchen section, mentor your team, and step up for the Head Chef in their absence. The role emphasizes training, stock control and delivering meals that meet our branded standards.

You’ll join Mitchells & Butlers’ family with opportunities for progression, paid qualifications, and attractive staff benefits. This is a part‑time on‑site position at the Waterside location.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen leading a team.
• Ability to work to branded menu standards and targets.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train the kitchen team to deliver food to a high standard.
• Support Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
• Manage Chefs and kitchen staff in a fast‑paced environment.
