Miller & Carter - Chelmsford is seeking a Part Time Sous Chef with a passion for great food, training people and leaving guests with a smile. You’ll run a section and lead the team in the Head Chef’s absence, driving consistency in a fast-paced branded menu environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Sous Chef role and leading a kitchen team.
• Ability to train and inspire staff and deliver quality food.
• Experience with health and hygiene regulations.
• Experience with food ordering and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver food you’re proud of.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering, prep and stock control.
• Manage a branded menu and oversee kitchen operations.
• Ensure health and hygiene regulations are followed.
• Oversee that the kitchen team performs to standards.
