Job summary

Sense is looking for an Assistant Shop Manager in Denbigh. This permanent, part-time role is 15 hours per week across two days, with a salary of £13 per hour. You will support the Shop Manager to drive sales, supervise volunteers and ensure a welcoming, well-presented shop.

You'll help with stock, displays, pricing and community engagement while maintaining high standards and supporting other Sense shops as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience recruiting, managing and motivating a team.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Confidence with numbers and administration.
• Willingness to work Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.
• Interest in fashion trends.
• Professional approach with customers, volunteers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shop Manager to maximise sales and achieve targets.
• Create attractive displays and maintain shop presentation.
• Price, rotate and manage donated stock.
• Recruit, train and motivate volunteers.
• Liaise with the local community to promote Sense and drive fundraising opportunities.
• Complete shop administration and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Help maintain a safe environment for customers, staff and volunteers.
• Support other Sense shops in the area when required.
