Job summary

Churchill's in Billericay is seeking a Shift Manager to cover 25-30 hours per week. The role pays £12.71-£13.71 per hour and involves leading the shift, cooking menu items to a high standard, and delivering excellent customer service in a busy kitchen.

You will work closely with the Management team to ensure KPI targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards, with training and support provided to help you grow in your food career.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast‑paced kitchen or food service.
• Ability to manage shifts and uphold health and safety standards.
• Flexible for part-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all menu items to high standard.
• Coordinate takeaway, click & collect via app and delivery.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team.
• Promote food hygiene and health and safety compliance.
• Drive store performance and profitability.
• Work with Operations Manager to maximise turnover ethically.
