Job summary

TPF Recruitment is supporting a prestigious chartered accountancy practice in Tonbridge, seeking a Part Time Senior Practice Accountant. You will focus on statutory accounts and corporate tax, with scope for self assessment and management accounts work, shaped to your experience and aspirations.

You will report to the Manager in a mixed client portfolio from small business owners to multi-million pound groups, based in a rural Tonbridge office with hybrid and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years’ experience within practice
• Experience with accounts, tax and VAT
• Willing to work 3–4 days per week

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly accounts and VAT returns.
• Manage your client portfolio and client relations.
• Oversee and review the work of junior staff and bookkeepers.
• Onboard new clients and assist with ad-hoc consultancy and systems implementation.

TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy praticerecruitment agency is supporting an excellent chartered accountancy practicebased in Tonbridge, who are looking for a Part Time Senior Practice Accountant to jointheir experienced team in a general practice capacity, primarily focused on statutory accounts and corporate tax returns, but there will be an opportunity to support with some self assessment tax work, and some more interesting management accounts work too, shoudl you wish. As a Senior Practice Accountant, you will report directlyinto the Manager and be responsible for a mixed client portfolio made up ofsmall business owners through to multi million pound groups. You will be based in an amazingoffice in a rural location in Tonbridge and also have the opportunity forhybrid working and flexible working hours. You will be responsible for:

• Prepareand review annual statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.

Requirements

• Youwill be qualified, or studying ACA/ACCA,or qualified by experience with at least 3-5 years’ experience withinpractice.
  
• Youwill have worked as a Semi Senior or Senior Accountant within a practiceenvironment and have hands on experience of accounts, ideally managementaccounts, tax and VAT.
  
• £35,000 - £50,000, based on experience
• 3-4 days per week,, or equivalent hours
