Job summary

Edith Borthwick School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team. You will help create a positive, safe learning environment for pupils with a range of needs, supporting independence and communication across three classes. Prior school experience is not essential, but any experience with SEND is valuable.

The role is 16 hours per week, Monday, Thursday and Friday 09:10–15:00, term-time plus five non-pupil days. Applications close soon; start date is flexible subject to checks.

Qualifications

• Previous school experience is not essential, although relevant experience with children, young people, or individuals with additional needs is valuable.

• Create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment.
• Help pupils learn, communicate and become as independent as possible.
