Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd. is seeking part-time Support Workers to assist in our partner SEND schools in Huddersfield. The role involves supporting children with diverse needs from autism to PMLD across multiple sites, with 8:30–3:30 availability on up to four days a week.

Applicants must have recent experience with children or young people, be able to obtain references, and hold or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service.

Qualifications

• Recent experience within the last 4 years of working with children or young people, ideally in a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting.
• Able to obtain valid references from these roles.
• Hold, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS, registered to the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Support young people and children with a range of special educational needs in SEND settings.
• Work across multiple sites in Huddersfield with availability 8:30–15:30 on assigned days.
• Provide consistent supervision and safeguarding in line with school policies.
