Pool Hayes Academy is seeking a creative and organised Science Technician to join the Academy Transformation Trust. The role involves working with class teachers to support resources, learning and technical assistance for the Science department.

The ideal candidate will have GCSE English and Maths at level 4/C+, knowledge of health and safety regulations for practical subjects, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• GCSE level 4/C+ including English and Maths.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations relating to practical subjects in schools.
• Ability to keep calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support with resources, learning and technical support to meet the needs of the Science department.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and security measures at all times and support teachers and students with practical activities.
