Job summary

REESON Education is seeking a part-time Science Technician for a coeducational secondary school & sixth form in South West London. The role runs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 8:30am to 3pm, and starts immediately.

Ideal candidates include science graduates with lab experience or an experienced Science Technician. UK-trained or overseas-trained applicants are welcome, with DBS checks and right to work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• UK Bachelor of Science Degree or overseas equivalent
• Experience in a lab or as a Science Technician in UK schools

Responsibilities

• Organisation, preparation, repair, cleaning, transport and collection of equipment and materials.
• Assisting and supporting in practical lessons and enrichment activities
• Ensuring full implementation of Health and Safety regulations, including carrying out risk assessments
