Philosophy Education LTD is recruiting a School Welfare Officer for a well-regarded West London secondary school in the Borough of Ealing. The role focuses on providing first aid and welfare support to pupils, supporting safeguarding, attendance, and administrative tasks during term-time.

This part-time position runs Tue, Thu and Fri 08:30–16:00 with an immediate start. Candidates should have secondary school experience, a valid First Aid certificate, and be confident using SIMS and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Secondary school experience is required.
• A valid First Aid qualification is ideally held.
• Confident use of SIMS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Calm, caring and professional demeanour with safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and welfare support to pupils.
• Manage and report accidents and medical incidents.
• Liaise with parents regarding pupil health and wellbeing.
• Monitor and record pupil attendance and punctuality.
• Maintain medical and welfare records using SIMS.
• Support safeguarding procedures and child protection.
• Assist with general administrative tasks as required.
• Coordinate emergency medical care when necessary.
