Job summary

The 24x7 Group is recruiting for a part-time driver to provide safe, reliable transport for children and adults as part of our home-to-school routes. The role offers 12.5–25 hours per week with a route-dependent salary and vehicle provided.

You will ensure safe travel for passengers, build professional relationships with families and school staff, follow all safety procedures, and be available for morning and afternoon school-day shifts. Full training is provided and DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (car category).
• Ability to drive a range of vehicles including wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided).
• Enhanced DBS Check required and Group 2 medical completion; right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Ensure passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations.
• Build professional relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and school staff.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.
• Available for both morning and afternoon shifts on school days.

What You Need

• A valid UK driving licence (car category)
• Confidence in driving a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided)
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Check (criminal record check)
• Completion of a Group 2 medical assessment to meet licensing standards
• Right to work in the UK
