Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a part-time Band 6 School Nurse in Middlewich. You will join a Central team to support school-aged children in Sandbach, Alsager, Middlewich and Congleton, working with schools and families to improve health and wellbeing.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, referrals, and integrated working with education and social care. Experience in leading school nursing and commitment to reducing health inequalities is essential.

Formación

• RN (Adult or Child/RSCN) qualification with registration in the UK.
• Postgraduate qualification in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing – School Nursing or equivalent.
• Motivational Interviewing training.
• Promotional Interviewing training.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage a school nursing caseload within the Central team (Sandbach, Alsager, Middlewich, Congleton).
• Collaborate with schools, families and the wider community to improve health outcomes for school-aged children.
• Develop referral pathways and work with public health and safeguarding in partnership with the local authority.
