The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 School Nurse to join the Service in Wolverhampton. You will deliver and manage care for a designated caseload, contributing to the Healthy Child Programme across schools, health centres and homes.

You will work within a multi-skilled team, uphold safeguarding policies, and support development and training for staff while promoting preventative health for children and families.

Qualifications

• NMC registration is required.
• Experience in school nursing is desirable or beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and manage a programme of care for a designated caseload within the School Nursing Service.
• Work within Wolverhampton to provide universal preventative health care through the Healthy Child Programme in schools, health centres, homes.
• Attend safeguarding updates and ensure safety of children and families.
• Provide training and signposting to teachers and school staff; contribute to staff development.
