Escrick Church of England Primary School is seeking a highly motivated Kitchen Assistant to join the busy catering team. The role involves preparing, cooking and serving meals, keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, and supporting the delivery of healthy, government-standard meals across the school.

Responsabilidades

• Collect and serve school meals.
• Set dining tables before service and clear away after.
• Clean kitchen and dining areas and wash up.
• Sweep and mop floors and remove waste.
• Engage with customers to support catering across breaks and meals.
• Maintain food presentation and comply with hygiene guidelines.
• Use Cypad functions for menus, pre-orders and allergens.
• Promote healthy eating in line with government standards.
• Communicate with staff, schools, suppliers and the community.
• Monitor stock and waste to support cost efficiency.
• Carry out other duties as required.
