Job summary

Chartwells is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant on a part-time basis (12.5 hours per week), contracted to 43.8 weeks per year. You’ll join a team that takes pride in its food, its brand, and its people.

Key duties include preparing high-quality meals, keeping the kitchen and surroundings clean, operating equipment safely, assisting with deliveries, and upholding food hygiene and health & safety standards.

• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles.
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
