All Saints' C of E Primary School in Maldon is seeking an Assistant Cook to support the catering team. The successful applicant will be positive, hardworking and committed to school values, with duties including meal preparation and serving at lunchtimes, and maintaining hygiene and equipment use.

The role is 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.00 am – 2.00 pm, during term time. Training will be provided and safeguarding checks are required, with DBS and references as part of the process.

Qualifications

• 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.00 am–2.00 pm.
• Term time only.
• Catering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals at lunchtime.
• Manage use and care of kitchen equipment.
• Ensure staff and kitchen hygiene requirements are met.
• Work in compliance with school policies and as directed by the Catering Manager.
