Job summary

Ipswich High School is seeking an experienced and organised Finance Manager on a maternity cover basis, working 22–29 hours per week. The role involves managing the school’s finances, producing management accounts, monitoring budgets and ensuring timely reporting within a small finance team.

You will work closely with the Head of Finance to oversee day-to-day operations, maintain accurate financial records and identify process improvements.

Qualifications

• Finance professional with broad accounting knowledge.
• Experience producing management accounts and reconciliations.
• Ability to monitor budgets and ensure accuracy.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
