Responsibilities

• General maintenance repair work and refurbishment projects.
• Assess and liaise with Facilities Co-ordinator with reference to stock levels.
• Evening lock up and security checks as required.
• Assist as and when required in the setting up of functions.
• Enrol on courses as requested to develop the department.
• Liaise with the Facilities Co-ordinator on damage, wear and tear and health and safety matters.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with teaching staff and other departments.
• Seek and implement ways to improve quality and cost effectiveness of the department.
