Job summary

Staffordshire County Council is seeking School Crossing Patrol staff for Burton, Lichfield, Tamworth locations. This part-time, term-time role offers training, a uniform, and weekly payments throughout the year.

Duties include assisting children crossing roads, operating during two crossings daily, typically 7:30–9:00 and 14:30–16:00, with some sites varying. A Health Assessment and enhanced DBS check are part of the onboarding process.
