Job summary

Crosshall Infant School is seeking a reliable cleaner to join our team. The role covers cleaning duties to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Hours are 12.5 per week (2.5 hours daily, Monday to Friday) during 39 weeks (term time plus 5 days). DBS checks will apply as part of safeguarding. Meridian Trust provides extensive benefits for staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Ability to undertake all the physical aspects of the post.
• Ability to move and use domestic and industrial type cleaning equipment.
• Commitment to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Operate domestic and industrial type cleaning equipment.
• Use cleaning materials appropriately and economically and inform stocks low.
• Work to academy guidelines at all times, particularly health and safety policy.
• Ensure that tools and equipment are in good working order.
