Job summary

Brompton Hall School is seeking a part-time Cleaning Operative to join our dedicated facilities team during term-time.

The role covers 22 hours per week across 39 weeks, with shifts Monday-Thursday 1pm-5:30pm and Friday 12pm-4pm, cleaning classrooms, halls and staff areas to ensure a clean, safe environment for pupils aged 8–16 with SEMH needs. You will work as part of a small team and be committed to high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a team, preferably in a cleaning role, but training will be provided.
• Ability to work using own initiative and manage workload within timescales.
• Self-motivation with a flexible approach to role and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean across the whole building including the Hall, classrooms and staff areas.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment for pupils.
