Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting a School Cleaner for a part-time, term-time role in Lincoln. You will help maintain a clean and safe environment for pupils, staff and visitors, with shifts either early mornings or late afternoons.

The successful candidate will have reliable timekeeping, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow a cleaning schedule while adhering to health and safety procedures. DBS check will be required or a willingness to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience desired but not essential.
• Reliability, good timekeeping, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and follow a cleaning schedule.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Understanding of basic health and safety practices.
• A valid enhanced DBS, or willingness to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.
• Maintain cleanliness of toilets and washrooms.
• Vacuum, mop, sweep, and polish floors.
• Restock hygiene supplies (soap, towels, toilet roll).
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the site manager.
• Follow school health and safety procedures at all times.
