Job summary

Oasis Academy Woodview is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join the team. The role supports a hygienic, safe environment for all building users within the school campus, under supervision from the Cleaning Supervisor and alongside the Facilities team.

Previous cleaning experience is desired but not essential. Working hours are likely 3pm–6pm, Monday to Friday, across 49.6 weeks per year, with a wage of £12.52 per hour and Local Government Pension and uniform provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning of premises under direction.
• Use cleaning materials appropriately and report stock levels.
• Ensure tools/equipment are in good working order and report faults.
• Keep cleaners’ cupboards/lockers clean and tidy.
• Place cleaning signs in wet/unsafe areas.
• Undertake non-routine cleaning tasks as instructed.
