Longtown Primary School in Cumbria is recruiting a part-time cleaner to join our school community. You will be responsible for general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping and dusting, to maintain a safe and tidy environment for pupils and staff.

Applicants should be aware of health and hygiene procedures, be willing to training, and able to work both independently and as part of a team while engaging positively with children.

Qualifications

• Aware of Health & Hygiene procedures
• Willingness to attend and participate in training
• Able to identify training needs and address them
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to relate well to children

Responsabilités

• General cleaning duties: vacuuming, floor mopping, dusting, bin emptying.
• Ensure areas are cleaned regularly and to high standards.
• Maintain health and safety standards and follow risk assessments.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
