Job summary

Stoke Prior Primary School is seeking a reliable Cleaner to carry out cleaning duties that enable the school to operate fully and efficiently as a learning environment. The successful applicant will work as part of our friendly school, maintaining high standards of cleanliness for pupils and staff.

The role is part-time (17.5 hours per week), permanent, term time only, with 50% stand down during school holidays.

Qualifications

• An understanding and perception of the need for a high standard of cleanliness in schools
• Possess a thorough approach to cleaning and the storage of cleaning materials
• The ability to work alone without supervision or as part of a team
• The ability to work effectively with other cleaning staff and managers
• A commitment to providing a clean and pleasant environment for pupils and staff
• To work in support of the ethos of the school
• Previous experience of cleaning
