Job summary

Greenshaw Learning Trust is seeking reliable School Cleaners to join our Stoke Damerel Community College and Scott Medical and Healthcare College sites in Plymouth. You’ll carry out cleaning duties across classrooms, offices, toilets and communal areas, keeping the school safe, welcoming and hygienic for students and staff.

We value punctuality and teamwork and will support you with training and a friendly, dedicated team.

Qualifications

Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Able to work independently without supervision.

Responsibilities

To be responsible for the cleanliness of designated areas of the site as directed and for maintaining high and consistent standards.
To secure classrooms and offices (closing of windows and locking of doors).
To carry out other cleaning duties such as washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying litter bins, polishing and dusting of areas as directed by the shift supervisor.
