Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting a School Cleaner for a school in Leicester (LE5), part-time 15-20 hours weekly, Monday to Friday 15:15-18:15. The role covers classrooms, washrooms, corridors and offices, with daily sweeping, mopping and vacuuming.

DBS check required: Enhanced DBS with Child Barring or Update Service. Prior cleaning experience helps, reliability and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, offices, and common areas daily.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors to ensure they are clean and presentable.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste in accordance with school policies.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in bathrooms.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and notify supervisors of any malfunctions.
